We’re delighted that one the scenes from the Feature doc “McQueen” is nominated for Film sync of the year at the Music Week Sync awards 2018.
“McQueen” is a personal look at the extraordinary life, career and artistry of Alexander McQueen. Through exclusive interviews with his closest friends and family, recovered archives, exquisite visuals and music, McQueen is an authentic celebration and thrilling portrait of an inspired yet tortured fashion visionary.
The nominated scene features the song “Dealing for the Sarabande” by Michael Nyman. Also dubbed “Lee’s Sarabande”. The song was originally commissioned by McQueen for the famous “Widows of Culloden” show. The piece was originally intended to be used in the iconic finale when Kate Moss appeared as a “Hologram”. The track, ultimately wasn’t used, this scene in “McQueen” see’s the song re-instated for it’s original purpose.
